A Quarter-Century of Success Makes Alan Peck a Perfect Fit for Valenta’s Leadership Team
A man with a talent for sustaining consecutive year-over-year growth and increasing market share in a short period of time, Alan learned three key ingredients to success: Be different from everyone else, find a partner you can trust, and deliver next-generation solutions to help businesses thrive.
Joining Valenta a Managing Director in the U.S. was a natural transition from Alan’s leadership position at Bausch + Lomb, where he improved the company’s bottom line by restructuring sales teams and developing processes that led the Surgical Sales Group to the top-performing spot, where it generated tens of millions of dollars annually.
As the founder and principal of his own consulting firm, Alan provides strategic business consulting services to the medical device industry, focusing on eye health. Through his leadership position with Valenta, he is able to provide his business partners with an enormous portfolio of solutions for staffing, digital transformation, and organization that only large enterprises could previously afford.
Alan has long been a trusted advisor to the companies he works with, diving into complex organizational and procedural challenges with a wealth of expertise and finding customized solutions for large and small businesses across all verticals. As he helps build Valenta’s presence in the U.S., Alan’s consultative approach and excellent listening skills help him match clients with the resources they need to transform their business—and their profit margins.
We recently asked Alan to weigh in about why he decided to partner with Valenta and whether he has any hot tips for business leaders looking to increase their market share.
Why did you choose Valenta?
Valenta offers the service deliverables in a professional and cost effective way for customers. I am excited to build this business together with new and existing managing partners into a brand which our customers rely on to achieve leadership in their markets as well. That is a true partnership.

Anyone in my life who helps me be a better human being every day.
What is the best business advice that you ever received?
Do the right thing, no matter how hard it may be at times.
Do you have any tips on how you will get the most out of your business?
Treat people with respect, and take pride in what you do. Relationships and trust predicate success and longevity.
What is the key factor in your current business success?
I work to provide solutions which are best for each customer, and never assume I know their challenges before they share them. If there is not a short term solution that I can provide which benefits a customer, I have confidence that there will be at a later time.
